Unit Standard Title: Facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies

Introduction:  

Facilitating learners is a rewarding and satisfying occupation. There is a big market for competent facilitators who are subject experts in their chosen field.  This programme will provide the skills to facilitate learning using a variety of methodologies.  The methodologies are applicable to a variety of subjects.  Learners who have successfully completed this programme will be identified as competent learning facilitators in the market place.  Candidates with sufficient knowledge and experience as a facilitator may apply for RPL against this unit standard

RPL: (Recognition of Prior Learning): 

A learner who requests RPL will be required to meet all the criteria set out under the assessment criteria and assessment notes in the unit standard

 

Target group:

Management, supervision, technicians, artisans, and subject matter experts.

Expert level requirements:

1-2 years practical hands on experience in their subject matter

Certification:

A certificate of competence will be issued based on the following:

  • Theoretical assessments during programme;
  • Practical application assessment
